Paul Gough is still one of the region's best-known broadcasters, but these days he runs his own company in a bid to help businesses boost their Marketing and Public Relations opportunities.

"Goffy" became one of the most popular personalities in the region with his unique style on the region's biggest radio stations - Century Radio, Metro Radio and TFM.

Paul is equally at home fronting PR events, sporting dinners, and other live events as he is in the studio, and so he should . . . he’s been doing it for a long time at a very high level!

But long before appearing on the Radio, Goffy was heavily involved in PR and Marketing with his own successful company. You can read about his early days here.

While presenting a daily radio show Paul's biggest achievement was his skill in marketing himself, effectively creating the "Goffy" brand. And these days Goffy and his team are here to offer that same expertise to help maximise publicity for your organisation ! But it's not just about big names or large companies, we recently helped Dr Xue Min Fan launch a Chinese Acupuncture centre in Hartlepool. As the owner was still learning English, Goffy hosted the event, welcoming the media and explaining all about this exciting new one-man business. We used Hartlepool United football legend Joe Allon (pictured left) to maximise local media attention, and instill confidence in this new treatment being offered in the town.

While presenting his radio shows, Paul had the pleasure of interviewing and working alongside some of the biggest names in showbiz and sport - including Ant and Dec, Alan Shearer, Simon Cowell, Lionel Richie and the incomparable Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne.

These celebrities came to the studios as strangers and left as friends, which is a testament to Goffy's warm and professional approach to the Media, Public Relations and Marketing business. And those same celebrities that Goffy has been involved with are now valuable business contacts.

For example, the relationship Goffy built up with Gazza over the years lead to Paul taking him on a media tour to promote his best-selling biographies. We have also recently worked with such names as Katie Price, Mike Tyson, Gordon Ramsay, David Gest, Ricky Hatton, and Peter Andre. (see our Video section)

Over the years Paul has hosted all kinds of live events - from charity auctions to major sell-out concerts, book signings to product launches. One of his particular specialities is not only hosting but also organising sportsman’s dinners, for which his contacts in the sporting world have proved invaluable.

Many charities have also seen the benefit in getting Goffy Media involved, pictured left is David Gest with Goffy at a Variety Club of Great Britain celebrity auction. Over the years Paul has personally helped raise well over a million pounds for worthy causes.
