While presenting his radio shows, Paul had the pleasure of interviewing and working alongside some of the biggest names in showbiz and sport - including Ant and Dec, Alan Shearer, Simon Cowell, Lionel Richie and the incomparable Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne. These celebrities came to the studios as strangers and left as friends, which is a testament to Goffy's warm and professional approach to the Media, Public Relations and Marketing business. For example, the relationship Goffy built up with Gazza over the years lead to Paul taking him on a media tour to promote his best-selling biographies, and more recently he arranged a front-page world-exclusive interview with him for the Sunday Mirror while he was at an Arizona rehab clinic. Goffy is pictured on the left with Sunday Mirror news boss Mike Hamilton, with their front-page exclusive. As a result, Gazza's thank you message to his fans was picked up by TV & Radio worldwide. This demonstrates not only the kind of trusting relationship Goffy has built up with celebrities, but also his vast media connections. This also shows how Goffy Media have built up extensive Media contacts over the years, not just in the North East, but with major national newspapers such as The Sun and Daily Mirror, as well as radio and television. |

As well as working for individuals, Goffy also helps promote top Companies or Brands. Many charities have also seen the benefit in getting Goffy Media involved. Over the years Paul has attended countless charity functions and has personally helped raise millions of pounds for worthy causes. This includes Variety, the children's charity - click here Goffy recently helped promote a Tesco sponsored campaign for Diabetes UK. This included using his high-profile contacts to gain maximum exposure on TV, Radio & Media for Tesco. Pictured left is actor and TV presenter Bradley Walsh backing the nationwide campaign. TV host Vernon Kay, the cast of ITV's Benidorm series, and a host of other familiar faces also joined the cause to raise thousand for the charity, culminating in a sell-out Celebrity Dinner and Auction, arranged by Goffy Media. We were asked to help promote a Charity CD recorded by comedian Roy 'Chubby' Brown, who wrote a touching song about the children's hospice Zoe's Place. We arranged distribution and online download of the song, enlisted numerous celebrities to help promote the fund-raising project, and then arranged a huge amount of publicity on Radio, Television and Press, plus Social Media. Paul himself has
also hosted all kinds of
live events - from charity auctions to major sell-out
concerts, book signings to product launches. One of his particular
specialities is not only hosting but also organising sportsman’s
dinners, for which his contacts in the sporting world have proved
invaluable. Paul is pictured right at a fundraising event with
Duncan Bannatyne lending his support, and below with Tim Healy and Denise
Welch.
