Long before "Goffy
in the Morning", Goffy launched Paul Gough Promotions way back in 1978!
Paul began
organising events and involving some of the biggest names in show
business. |
|
Back in the
early days of Goffy’s Media work, one of the most successful
business dinners he organised was with the vastly experienced and
former Fleet Street newspaper editor, TV and Radio 2 Breakfast Show
presenter, Derek Jameson. The idea was to host an event giving leading businesses the opportunity to both hear how they could get the best from their PR & Media Campaigns, and to put their questions to Jameson himself. It proved to be a fascinating experience and having that personal contact with Derek for those couple of days gave Goffy a brilliant insight in to how the PR/Marketing Industry worked . . . . It was a money can’t buy experience! |

These days Goffy
works with companies to organise all kinds of live events, breakfast
and lunch meetings, as well as conferences and team building
exercises.
He still gets a great thrill from being personally involved in hosting these functions, and with over 30 years experience he really is a master of the craft! Goffy continued to build up his reputation in the region - see Goffy On Air page to read about his broadcasting career. |

He has certainly become one of the big names in the North East himself - the region's daily newspaper the Northern Echo produce an annual Who's Who supplement, and Goffy has often appeared on the front page! |
