Goffy Media - Project - Ramside Hall

Formerly a manor house, Ramside Hall in Durham is a wonderful hotel and banqueting suite that is an ideal location for holding a wide range of events.

Our association with the venue goes back a number of years, hosting events such as sportsman's dinners, charity golf days, cabaret nights, and general PR to keep this venue in the public eye.

Pictured right is the owner John Adamson with England goalkeeping legend Peter Shilton at a special football lunch to launch the World Cup 2010 in the North East.

Ramside Hall received a great deal of press, radio and TV coverage for this event.

When Ramside Hall organised a special luncheon featuring a Question & Answer session with top chef Marco Pierre White, they got Goffy Media involved. We organised publicity around the event, and Goffy himself acted as MC.

Marco was delighted to endorse the quality of the hotel and its chefs . . . . the media loved this story - a great example of publicity that money can't buy !

Ramside Hall also boasts its own highly-rated Golf Course, and with the hotel facilities makes it an ideal venue for corporate or charity golf days.

On the right is a press cutting about a Celebrity Golf Day in aid of Mencap. Various local businessmen made donations to play with such familiar faces as Duncan McKenzie, Bob Champion MBE, Willie Thorne, and a host of other celebrities.

Goffy Media again got involved to promote the event and gain widespread publicity in the media, which again was of great benefit to the hotel.
