Goffy Media - Project - Jeff Stelling

Jeff Stelling has become a household name as the top Sky Sports presenter.

Born in Hartlepool. he began his journalist career at the Hartlepool Mail. In the mid 70s, Jeff then joined the commercial radio station Radio Tees in Stockton, where he was Sports Editor.

It was while at Radio Tees that he first met Goffy, and their mutual love of Hartlepool United Football Club has meant they have remained good friends ever since.

Jeff has always been happy to get involved with a number of Goffy Media projects over the years.

Below are just a few examples.

In 2013 Goffy Media was approached by Northern Echo newspaper Editor Peter Barron to see if he could arrange for Jeff to present an award in the paper's hugely successful "Local Heroes Awards", which have been running for many years. Unfortunately Jeff couldn't make it in person due to work commitments with Sky, but Goffy arranged a video linkup on a huge monitor at the event - pictured on the right.

When Hartlepool United celebrated its centenary Jeff worked with Goffy Media on what the club's Chief Executive described as "the club's greatest night in its 100 year history - off the pitch". Goffy Media produced a series of pre-recorded interviews with Jeff regarding his memories of the club as a fan, we were able to supply a vast amount of media interviews that resulted in a total sell-out for the dinner, just hours after tickets became available.

Jeff, together with his Sky Sports colleague Chris Kamara, joined in the celebrations that night - see full details by going to this page HERE.
